In the lawless town of Cimarron, a former prisoner named Sunset seeks redemption after being wrongly accused of cattle rustling. Upon his release, he stumbles upon the town, where he single-handedly thwarts a robbery attempt and kills two outlaws, earning the gratitude of the townsfolk. As sheriff, Sunset continues to prove himself by foiling another heist, unaware that his brother Ted is the mastermind behind the outlaws and the one who framed him for the crime.
