Donald's nephews return from playing outside covered in dirt. Donald insists they clean up, but they only do a half-hearted job. As a result, he sends them to bed without supper. In an attempt to sneak food, they concoct a plan, but Donald catches them. However, while chasing them, he accidentally falls off a cliff and becomes temporarily unconscious. Taking advantage of the situation, the boys create a fake corpse and dress Donald up as an angel, fooling him into believing he's dead.
