Swing Fever background

Swing Fever

A talented musician with a rare gift struggles to connect with others as his hypnotic abilities isolate him, leading him to pursue a Broadway publisher in hopes of sharing his symphonietta with the world.

Lowell Blackford, a talented musician with a rare "evil eye" that hypnotizes people, seeks a Broadway publisher for his symphonietta. He crashes an audition at Swing Publishing, where he meets Ginger Gray, a torch singer, and her fiancé Waltzy Malone. Waltzy discovers Lowell's power and plans to use it to help his fighter, "Killer" Kennedy, win the championship. Lowell joins a band at Ginger's club, but things become complicated when Ginger objects to using Lowell's power and Lowell proposes to her, only to join the Tank Corps after she rejects him.
