Tanja: Up in Arms
Tanja Nijmeijer, a Dutch graduate, rose through the ranks of Colombia's FARC guerrilla group, overcoming incredible odds in the early 2000s. However, she was later arrested on an Interpol warrant. Instead of being deterred, she redirected her efforts towards advocating for peace.
