Modern teenagers Jamie and Lucy find adventure with a mysterious old man, Mr Blunden, who hires them to caretake a haunted house. They meet two ghostly kids, Sara and Georgie, who have traveled from 1821 using a potion to escape an evil couple's murder plot. With Mr Blunden's help, Lucy and Jamie travel back in time to save their new friends, correct history, and redeem their new friend, Mr Blunden.
