On November 26, 2008, a routine evening in Mumbai took a devastating turn. A group of 24 young men, carrying large backpacks, arrived by speedboat at the Colaba coast. Despite locals' attempts to investigate, the men brushed them off and divided into two groups. Later that night, around 9:30 pm, gunfire erupted at CST station, causing widespread destruction and loss of life. The attacks spread to several locations, including the Taj Palace, Trident Hotel, Cama Hospital, Leopold Cafe, and Nariman House. The city descended into chaos, with people running for their lives and witnessing unspeakable horrors. By the time police responded, the damage was severe. Amidst the bloodshed, a brave officer, Tukaram Ombale, managed to apprehend one of the terrorists, Ajmal Qasab, but at the cost of his own life. The attacks continued for three days until NSG commandos eventually overpowered the terrorists, with Qasab being the sole survivor, later tried in court.
