The Barbarians background

The Barbarians

A brutal attack on Prince Revak's homeland leaves him a survivor, who is then taken captive and retrained as an elephant handler in the vibrant city of Carthage.

Revak, an Iberian prince, is enslaved after his island, Penda, is ravaged by the Carthaginian fleet. He seeks bloody revenge against his captors, even if it means forming an unlikely alliance with the Roman Empire, Carthage's longtime rival.
