In this heartwarming comedy, a charismatic Glasgow hairdresser, Crawford Mackinzie, receives an unexpected invitation to the prestigious World Hairdresser International Federation contest in Los Angeles. Accompanied by a documentary filmmaker and his crew, Crawford's dreams of competing in the contest are quickly dashed when he discovers he's actually been invited as a spectator.
