In a foretold prophecy, younger twin Anton is destined to kill his brother Gregor in the castle's Black Room. Anton returns to the castle after a decade, earning the respect of the subjects and the admiration of Thea's uncle, Col. Hassel. However, when Gregor kills a young servant, his subjects storm the castle, and he renounces his title to his brother Anton. But Gregor then kills Anton, assuming his identity and the Baronship. With Col. Hassel's blessing, Gregor pursues Thea, but when Col. Hassel discovers the truth, he too meets his death. As Thea's true love, Lt. Lussan, is wrongly accused of murder, it seems nothing can stop evil Gregor from marrying Thea, but what about the prophecy?
