Sally Warren, a wealthy and beautiful Southern heiress, runs a horse farm and loves horse racing, but her husband Jeff, a successful author and lecturer, despises horses. Despite their differences, they're headed for divorce court due to their lack of common interests and Sally's close relationship with her childhood friend and neighbor, Lance Gale. However, a series of events and a horse's unexpected matchmaking efforts ultimately bring the couple back together.
