When Jack and Jimmy are paid for delivering horses, Jimmy sets off to pay the ranch hands, but Plug Perkins has a sinister plan with the help of Cheyenne. However, Cheyenne leaves behind a crucial clue - a harmonica plate - at the crime scene. Jack discovers the plate and tracks down Cheyenne just as Perkins is about to take a fatal shot. After saving Cheyenne's life, Jack concocts a scheme to manipulate him into making a confession.
