A young woman, Persephone, is falsely accused and arrested in the 17th century, but a mysterious Reverend Mother intervenes, offering her sanctuary and hope. Persephone soon discovers that the Priory, led by the Reverend Mother, is not a place of salvation, but a battleground for her own soul.
