A group of four middle-aged couples, who have maintained strong friendships despite the numerous divorces among their friends, embark on a journey of self-discovery as one of them decides to make a change in life. Over the course of a year, they take four vacations together, each set to Antonio Vivaldi's music, and are forced to examine their marriages, friendships, and personal flaws.
