The Green Prince background

The Green Prince

A Palestinian man, the son of a prominent Hamas leader, navigates the complex web of his family's militant legacy while leading a secret life as a spy for the Israeli government.

Mosab Hassan Yousef, a Palestinian from Ramallah, initially grows up hostile towards Israel. However, after being arrested at 17 for gun smuggling and witnessing Hamas's brutal tactics, he agrees to become an Israeli informant. This decision is met with shame by Mosab, while his Shin Bet handler, Gonen, sees it as a significant victory.
