In 1945, a group of victorious American officers turn Castle Kronberg into a luxurious retreat. Colonel Jack Durant and Lieutenant Kathleen Nash stumble upon a treasure trove of German jewels, including diamonds, rubies, and emeralds. They manage to smuggle the gems to New York, but their plan is complicated by gangsters who want to steal the loot.
