A school teacher is abducted by an alien being, who is being pursued by another species seeking to wipe out his kind. The alien's plan is to impregnate the teacher and give birth to a female, who will become the "Eve" of his race, as females were the first to be exterminated. The trio must escape to the alien's ship, a journey that must be completed within three days, while a determined sheriff and Mancuso work to eliminate them.
