The movie explores the contrast between a primitive, unrefined individual and a sophisticated, cultured one. The story follows Richard Marshall V, a man from a wealthy background, who is invited to sail to Galveston and then visit Hopi land in Arizona. Unbeknownst to Richard, he becomes entangled in a diamond-smuggling operation and a secret service investigation, testing his instincts and mettle.
