The New Centurions

In this gritty police drama, a group of new recruits embark on their first days patrolling the streets of Los Angeles. Among them is Roy Fehler, a law student juggling his studies with his new career in the LAPD. Paired with seasoned veteran Kilvinski, Fehler quickly forms a strong bond with his partner, who teaches him the ropes and shows him the harsh realities of the job. As time passes, Fehler becomes increasingly consumed by his work, neglecting his family and academic pursuits. When Kilvinski retires, Fehler's life spirals out of control, leading to a downward spiral of heavy drinking and a shattered marriage. Just when he's on the verge of turning things around, fate deals him another blow.
