Twenty years after making a pact to be together if single at 35, Amy and Andy reconnect at a birthday party for Amy's nephew. Amy, now disorganized and dependent on drinking, is struggling to find love. Andy, on the other hand, has become a successful record producer, but is stuck in a relationship with his bossy girlfriend Kelly and has a son from his previous marriage.
