In a Mexican town, the traditions of family honor, greed, and machismo are put to the test. A wealthy and powerful landowner, Don Alejo, is on the verge of acquiring the last property he needs to complete his deal, a local brothel owned by a father-daughter duo. The father, Manuelita, is a flamenco dancer who cross-dresses and is struggling to come to terms with his own identity, while his daughter wants to stay in the town. The return of Pancho, a hotheaded young man, sets off a chain of events that puts everyone's values and desires to the ultimate test.
