Two aging cowboys, Ben and Howdy, work for a smooth-talking operator, Jim Ed Love, breaking broncos in Sedona. As they winter in the high country, rounding up over 100 stray cattle, they have their sights set on a plan to bet their earnings at the Sedona rodeo on an unruly roan horse.
