When Mr. Rose, the founder of Rose's Manure Company, dies in a tragic accident, the livelihood of his loyal salesmen is put at risk. His estranged daughter, Rosemary, a cosmetics salesgirl, takes over the family business, determined to turn it around despite her lack of experience. However, a ruthless fertilizer rep plots to take over the company, forcing Rosemary to rely on her top salesman, Patrick Fitzpatrick, to devise a plan to save the business.
