An aging criminal mastermind, Paul Berger, runs a global gold smuggling operation from behind the scenes of his nightclub. He enlists the help of his loyal right-hand man, Walter, to recruit innocent men to do his dirty work while evading the police. But the mob is closing in, and a mole within the group - an undercover US Treasury agent - threatens to expose their scheme. When a partner is brutally murdered, Paul takes matters into his own hands, and a deadly game of cat and mouse ensues.
