In a lawless land, Clayton City's citizens plea to the governor for a honest marshal to bring order. Frank Lane, accompanied by his son Rocky, answers the call, but their journey is interrupted by a bandit attack, which Jimmy intervenes to repel. Upon arrival, Marshal Lane identifies Saddles as the outlaw leader, but before he can apprehend him, Saddles kills the marshal. With no eyewitnesses, Nugget is mistakenly accused, and Jimmy sets out to avenge his death.
