In a city where the streets are littered with dead bodies, a sense of apathy has taken hold, with people passing by without a second glance. The authorities, in an attempt to maintain control, use the bodies as a warning to the rebels. Against this backdrop, Antigone, determined to give her brother a proper burial, joins forces with a young foreigner who shares her mission. Despite the danger, they attempt to bury the dead, only to be discovered and killed. However, their bravery inspires a group of young people to follow in their footsteps, taking to the streets to continue the defiance and challenge the authorities.

Despite the gruesome sight of bodies strewn across the city streets, the citizens carry on with their daily routines, seemingly immune to the violence. In a desperate attempt to halt the bloodshed, the authorities display the corpses in public, hoping the gruesome display will deter the rebels.
