The Brenner brothers, Stephan, Taylor, and Luke, all live with their mother Barbara due to various reasons. Stephan, an animal therapist, lives in the backyard as he's anxious around people, Taylor, a video game engineer, lives in the basement as he's irresponsible and always causes trouble, and Luke, a firefighter, lives in the main house temporarily while building his own home.
