A poignant film showcases a dedicated teacher's efforts to educate and inspire young minds at a charming one-room school in rural France, catering to children aged 4 to 11.

In a village schoolhouse in Auvergne, a group of 13 children, aged 4 to 12, learn to coexist under the guidance of teacher Georges Lopez. Against a backdrop of changing seasons, the children develop essential skills, from reading and writing to cooking and problem-solving, in a warm and vibrant classroom. As they grow and mature, they also learn important social skills, such as working together and respecting one another, with Lopez's support.
