Donald's neighbor, Pegleg Pete, is relentlessly practicing his trombone, disrupting the peaceful neighborhood and even bothering the gods Jupiter and Vulcan. When Donald finally decides to confront Pete about the noise, Pete retaliates by sending him packing back home. Enraged by Pete's actions, the gods Jupiter and Vulcan decide to grant Donald a small portion of their divine power, which quickly goes to his head, causing him to become arrogant and full of himself.
