Lord Huron, an indie-folk band, is teaming up with director Ariel Vida to produce a full-length feature film called Vide Noir, based on their 2018 album of the same name. The neo-noir mystery film is set in 1960s Los Angeles and follows Buck Vernon, played by Victor Mascitelli, as he searches for his missing fiancée Lee Green, played by Ashleigh Cummings. The story takes place through the lens of a space-and-time-bending drug and features romance, surreal encounters, and a mysterious creator of a new drug infiltrating the town. Lord Huron will score the film with new arrangements of their music.
