A doctor and his wife leave their two young children in the care of Julia, a babysitter, while they're out. But when a stranger appears at the door, asking Julia to call the auto club, she soon realizes it's a ruse as the phone line is dead. The stranger's true intention is to abduct the children, a sinister plan that sets in motion a chain of events years later.
