The film is structured into five chapters, each revealing a crucial piece of the story. The journalist, Khadija Young, is captured in Mosul and subjected to intense torture and interrogation. Despite the brutality, she manages to establish her identity and that of her captor. Meanwhile, her cellmate, Lucas White, shares her cell and plays a crucial role in the events that unfold.
