The Gobots, inspired by Tonka toys, are divided into two rival factions: the Guardians, led by Leader-1, and the Renegades, led by Cy-Kill, who seek to dominate Gobotron, Earth, and the galaxy.

In a future where intelligent robots have evolved, two factions - the Guardians and the Renegades - vie for control of Earth and the galaxy, with the robots disguising themselves as ordinary vehicles.
