A young peddler named Kraft Lawrence travels through medieval towns, exchanging goods for a living. One evening, he stumbles upon a 250-year-old pagan deity girl, Holo, hiding in his wagon. She's a 15-year-old with wolf-like features, claiming to be the harvest goddess responsible for the town's abundant wheat harvests.
