An ancient robot, Cybuddy, is unearthed on a cross-shaped island in the South after centuries of being buried. The Order of the Glittering Star Cross, led by Wako Agemaki, attempts to awaken it by kidnapping her. Meanwhile, a rival group arrives with their own Cybuddy, Tauburn, to rescue Wako and uncover the advanced technology's secrets before disaster occurs.
