Antonio Gomez, a struggling musician and widower, fights to support his young son Paco in the face of unemployment and custody battles with neighbors. After arguing with his ex-girlfriend over money, he becomes the prime suspect in a murder investigation when she is killed by a religious-fanatic serial killer. As Gomez searches for his son, he unknowingly leads the killer straight to him and Paco, who has witnessed the murder and is now being stalked.
