A wealthy and powerful Indian businessman, Ranjit Katyal, realizes he no longer has influence over the Iraqis and he and his family are in danger. Unbeknownst to him, he becomes the man Indians look up to for safe evacuation from Kuwait. The story follows Indians stranded in Kuwait during the Iraqi invasion and how they, with Ranjit's help, survived and traveled to Amman, Jordan, and eventually returned home.
