Three wealthy but lonely executives, Melton, Chadwick, and O'Brien, host a Christmas Eve dinner for three strangers, but only two, James and Jean, attend. The pair fall in love and befriend their hosts, but their happiness is short-lived as the executives die in a plane crash and return as ghosts.
