A disillusioned Egyptian expatriate, who spent two decades in America, returns to his homeland, only to struggle with the stark contrasts between his adopted and native cultures, ultimately facing a crisis of identity and financial ruin.

A young Egyptian immigrant, Masry Sayed El Araby, struggles to find stability in America after the death of his parents. When his passport is lost, he experiences a shocking reversal of fortunes, and he decides to take a stand against the sudden change in how people treat him.
