Legendary Cuban musicians in their 90s came together to record a CD with Ry Cooder's guidance. The film captures the recording process in Havana, as well as concerts in Amsterdam and New York City's Carnegie Hall. The individual musicians share stories about their lives in Cuba and how they began their musical journeys.
