Call of the Flesh

In the vibrant nightlife of Seville, a gifted musician's creative spark and intense romance with his mysterious partner are put to the test as self-doubt begins to disrupt their precarious harmony.

Juan de Dios, a cantina performer, dreams of becoming a serious opera singer under the guidance of Estaban, a former impresario who lost everything due to reckless behavior. Estaban aims to manage Juan's career and get him fame and fortune. Juan meets Maria Consuelo Vargas, a former nun who escaped her convent life, and falls in love. However, he must decide whether to marry her or help her return to the convent, considering her brother's opposition, Lola's jealousy, and his own aspirations for his singing career.
