Two film school graduates, known as the "Filmfakers", attempt to recreate an ancient Greek play in modern-day Los Angeles, but their efforts are overshadowed by a group of three street youths who create a captivating documentary on underground hip-hop culture. The Filmfakers steal the youths' footage and gain fame and fortune, prompting the youths to seek revenge after discovering their work being broadcast on television.
