A cornfield owner, Daffy, is at odds with a starving crow who refuses his corn. A scarecrow intervenes, and Daffy's shotgun is revealed. Speedy's attempts to help the crow are thwarted by Daffy's helicopter and subsequent thresher chase. The crow is then caught in an iron cornstalk during an aerial attack. Daffy proposes a deal: each friend will get all the corn they can eat if they eliminate the other.
