A group of ranchers, led by Colonel Arnold and Ward Gordon, face off against a ruthless gang of outlaws who are trying to sabotage their oil drilling operation. The outlaws, led by J.B. "Dude" Dawson, are secretly working to prevent the ranchers from striking oil before their lease expires, so Dawson's company can claim the property for themselves. When the ranchers bring in a new driller, one of Dawson's men takes his place, leading to a deadly showdown.
