In the dusty plains, a struggling ranch is plagued by rustlers, prompting Tenderfoot Trask to recruit rodeo champion Travis to take over as owner. To combat the thefts, Travis and his crew construct a drift fence, but their efforts are thwarted by rival rancher Clay Jackson and his cohorts, led by the cunning Slinger Dunn.
