Bobby "Evel" Knievel, a restless and adventurous orphan, leaves his childhood home in Butte to pursue a life of risk-taking and excitement. He meets Linda Bork and together they embark on a journey of stunt-riding, making a name for themselves as original and daring performers. Evel's daredevil spirit is put to the test when he attempts a record-breaking jump at Caesar's Palace, and later faces an even greater challenge with a manned rocket canyon jump.
