In a dystopian future, evil cyborgs abduct humans to enslave them, while also capturing dinosaurs from the past to serve as trackers. One of their captives, the Runaway, manages to escape and finds himself in modern-day Los Angeles, where he must fight for survival against the cyborgs, their dinosaur henchmen, the police, and the government. Along the way, he forms an unlikely alliance with a former prostitute-turned-nun who runs a halfway house.
