A posse of outlaws, led by Ewing, is wreaking havoc on the stagecoach system. To infiltrate the gang, the Sheriff sends Tim Brandon to pose as a notorious outlaw. As Tim gains the gang's trust, he discovers their next heist and secretly informs the Sheriff. However, when Linda, sent by the Sheriff to apprehend the gang, fails to find him, she inadvertently reveals Tim's true identity to Ewing, putting his life at risk.
