Onnoval, the best student in his class, is a sensitive and talented writer and poet, admired by his teacher Meester de Vriend. Despite being bullied by Gino, who is Liselore's ex-boyfriend, Onnoval doesn't fight back, believing Gino is a werewolf. When famous horror writer Nol van Paulo visits his class, he warns Onnoval against writing for the evil Ferluci. However, after being humiliated by Gino, Onnoval writes a story about a class excursion that ends in Gino's death at the hands of a vampire, and gives it to Ferluci.
