In the film, two partners, Reno and Turner, carry out a daring heist on an express in Monterey. However, when Turner attempts to dissolve their partnership, Reno brutally shoots him and leaves him for dead. Miraculously, Turner is discovered by Maria and nursed back to health. As he recuperates, Turner sets out to track down Reno, who has established a new life by running a bar in Del Ray, obtained through a violent confrontation with his former partner, Abbott. Turner, now disguised as York, carefully manipulates Reno, keeping him off guard until he finally catches up with him and exacts his revenge.
