After spending 35 years in an orphanage, Hector is finally reunited with his aunt Ella and uncle Achiel, who take him in and offer him a job at their bakery. As he settles into his new life, Hector also lends a hand in helping his uncle's son, Jos, pursue his dream of becoming a cycling champion, and assists his aunt with preparing for her role in a play.
